Use Luvox (Fluvoxamine) as prescribed.
To prevent having an upset stomach while on this medication, take it with meals.

Missed Dose:

- This medication may cause drowsiness and worsen if taken with alcohol. Do not engage in activities that require mental alertness.
- Do not take less or more than what was prescribed by your physician.
- Do not take this medication if allergic to it or its components.
- Inform health care provider regarding history of medical conditions such as liver disease, epilepsy, seizures, bipolar disorder, suicidal ideation, or drug abuse.
- If pregnancy is planned, discuss health risks and benefits to your health care provider, especially during the third trimester.
- This medication passes to the breast milk. Do not breastfeed while taking this medication.
- There are certain medications that interact with Luvox. Be sure to inform health care provider regarding prescription or non-prescription medication, helbal preparations, dietary supplements, or vitamins.
- Do not take this medication if you have taken MAOI within the last 14 days.
- Suicidal thoughts and behaviors can be increased by antidepressants in some teenagers and children.
- Suicide is at a higher risk with bipolar individuals, family history of bipolar disorder, or previous attempt of suicide. Report any kind of change in behavior especially from depressed becoming unusually happy.
- Elderly may be more sensitive to Luvox.
